.38 Wadcutter Shotshell & .36 Cal B P Reloading Dies: We use these wad cutters for making our own over powder wads for my BP revolvers and also .38/.357 shotshells to handle the big grain bin rats around here. And since factory shotloads are hard to get and very expensive, we started making our own. This cutter is made of some sort of stainless steel. It very sharp and easily resharpend and is a heavy , high quality cutter that will cut wads out of just about any material. the wads fit perfectly into the .38 brass. I use about 4 gr. of HP-38 then a wad then fill it up with #7-1/2 shot,instead of the factory #12, which only made the rats laugh at us, then a top wad and seal it with elmers glue.
