- Wonderful vintage pair of Duchin Sterling Silver Candlestick holders! These stand 3 3/8" tall and are 3 1/4" in diameter at the base. Marked Weighted Sterling on the bottom. - Beautiful, MINT-CONDITION pair of Camark Art Pottery double candlesticks/candleholders. The glaze/color is what I would describe as lilac. They look like they've never been used. These candlesticks still sport their original gold labels that state: "Camark Deluxe Artware". They both have the stickers and price one the bottom from the store from which they were sold, Newberrys department store. Newberrys was founded in 1911 and was in business for many years. It's hard to know when these Camark pieces may have been carried, but I would guess they date from somewhere in the 1940s, maybe earlier. The mold number for the candlesticks is 269, and is shown on page 176 of "Collector's Guide to Camark Pottery: Identification & Values" by David Edwin Gifford. This bo...
